Patients, suspected of having a malignant disease of lungs, generally undergo clinical studies such as CT scans of the chest and bronchoscopy. The latter is mainly used to confirm the diagnosis. However, even when the signs, symptoms and radiological findings indicate that clinical diagnosis of malignant lung disease is evident, additional invasive procedures for obtaining the biological material suitable for the final confirmation of the presence of malignant cells are required. Currently, there is a clear understanding of the need to find biomarkers able to detect pre-clinical stage of cancer cells using minimally invasive procedures.</p>
В настоящее время есть четкое понимание необходимости поиска биомаркеров, способных на доклинической стадии выявлять клетки рака с помощью малоинвазивных процедур.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Lung cancer</kwd><kwd>biomarkers</kwd><kwd>DNA methylation</kwd><kwd>microRNA</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак легких</kwd><kwd>биомаркеры</kwd><kwd>ДНК метилирование</kwd><kwd>микроРНК</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>ВОЗ, информационный бюллетень №297. 2014.</mixed-citation></ref><ref id="B2"><label>2.</label><mixed-citation>Andujar P., Wang J., Descatha A., et al. p16INK4A inactivation mechanisms in non-small-cell patients with lung cancer occupationally exposed to asbestos.
