Аннотация
Статья посвящена обсуждению миграционной теории Э. Ли. Публикация Э. Ли по теории миграции (Lee, 1966) – одна из наиболее цитируемых среди исследований миграций. При анализе содержания этой знаковой работы в фокус исследовательского внимания ставятся не столько тезисы авторской теории, сколько их взаимосвязь с идеями предшественников, с веяньями времени, когда она была написана. Осуществлен краткий аналитический разбор трудов предшественников Э. Ли, определена степень их влияния на основные положения его теории, а также выделена роль его работы в развитии миграционных исследований.
